Northland Rugby would like to announce that Andrew Ritchie has been appointed to Chair of the Board, replacing Ajit Balasingham who has served on the board in various capacities for the past 12 years. Northland Rugby thanks Ajit for all his work for the union.

Andrew Ritchie, has served on the board of directors since 2014 and was voted in as chairman on Monday 7th December.

Also on Monday night, JT Thomas has been inducted onto the board of directors. JT has a strong rugby history, having represented New Zealand as a Seven’s player, represented Northland and is a current NZ 7s selector/resource coach and selector for NZ Under 20s Blues Franchise, among other accomplishments.
