NORTHLAND RUGBY MALE ACADEMY MANAGER

Location: Whangārei, New Zealand

Employment Type: Permanent

Reports To: Men’s High Performance Manager 

Start Date: 24th February 2025

About the Role:

The Northland Male Academy Manager will play a vital leadership role within Northland Rugby. This position calls for a forward-thinking and strategic leader to guide the direction and operations of the Northland Academy.

As Academy Manager, you will oversee talent identification and player development across the Northland region. In close collaboration with the NPC Head Coach you will help ensure effective succession planning by identifying, connecting and recruiting promising players into the Academy. 

A crucial aspect of this role is guiding the personal and professional growth of players, emphasizing life skills and education in parallel with their rugby development. You will collaborate closely with the Player Development Manager to deliver a holistic welfare program that supports the well-being of all Academy members.

Requirements:

Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand. Additionally, all successful candidates will be required to undergo police vetting. Please note that any offer of employment will be conditional upon the satisfactory outcome of the police vetting process.

DUAL ROLE: 2025 NORTHLAND RUGBY NPC HEAD PHYSIOTHERAPIST & M3 CLINICAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST

M3 Clinic and Northland Rugby Union are seeking an experienced and driven Head Physiotherapist to join our high-performance team for the 2025 NPC season campaign. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of elite rugby and contribute to the growth of the provincial game in Northland. 

Working from our two state-of-the-art facilities: M3 HQ and NRU, you will have a diverse role with both MSK clinical appointments at M3 and working with the Northland Rugby Union HP and academy programs in the lead up to the 2025 Bunnings NPC Cup. You will then go full time as Head physio during the competition season from July through October 2025.

The Role: 
Fixed term contract from February 3rd  to December 19th 2025. 

The Applicant: 
Applicant needs a strong sports musculoskeletal background as well as side-line experience at a representative level. Applicants must have NZ residency, hold a current NZ APC and ICIR Level 1 and 2 accreditation.
