The Northland Rugby Union is excited to announce the appointment of the Northland Kauri Farah Palmer Head Coach Janna Vaughan. Janna is from Moerewa and is proud of her Te Tai Tokerau whakapapa. She has been in Japan playing professionally, and more recently has taken up the Head Coach role with the Mie Pearls.

Janna has represented New Zealand in both Rugby Union (15’s & 7’s) & Rugby League (13’s & 9’s). She is the former New Zealand featherweight & Lightweight Kickboxing Champion.

"I am excited to be given the opportunity & privilege  to come home to Northland and coach the Northland Kauri Farah Palmer Cup team, It poses a really exciting challenge. However I am confident that the foundations that have been laid by those before me, will provide a solid base and we will look to build on the momentum from last season. I look forward to working with the current & future whutuporo wahine toa no Te Taitokerau."

We look forward to Janna joining us for the upcoming Bunnings Warehouse Farah Palmer Cup.
