Ila Johnson 4 Jan 1911 – 28 Jan 2015

Ila was a very loyal Northland Rugby supporter. In this photo Ila was presented with a ‘100’ jersey at one of the games by Glenn Taylor when she turned 100 years old. Her greatest joy was talking to the players with Justin Collins, Ian Jones, Barrell Boys, Peter Jones and the Going brothers being her favourites. She never missed a home game until she was hospitalized at 103 years old.
