Born and raised in Kaitaia, Hannah is a proud Northlander who has deep roots in the community and a genuine understanding of the local rugby landscape. She has been part of Northland Rugby for several years, working tirelessly to support and enhance the women’s game. Her extensive experience includes managing the Northland Kauri Farah Palmer Cup team, serving as Team Manager for Chiefs Manawa in 2024 and is serving as Assistant Team Manager for the Blues Women in 2025. Her leadership and ability to foster strong relationships have been evident in her work, ensuring players receive the support and resources they need to excel.
Hannah brings a wealth of experience in team management, logistics, and high-performance structures. From overseeing team operations and organising travel to managing budgets and coordinating game-day logistics, she has demonstrated her ability to handle the demands of elite rugby. Her involvement in major tournaments such as the Women’s Rugby World Cup, where she served as a Team Services Liaison Officer, further highlights her expertise in high-performance environments.
Excited about her new role, Hannah shared her vision for the future:
“I am really excited to be given the opportunity to grow the women’s space. We have so many talented females in the Northland region, and development on and off the field is really important to continue seeing growth in the game. Being able to develop the programme to create a clear pathway and support the athletes to perform at their best on the field.”
